Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to ScaleMe services, including the Shaindy shidduch profile and introduction workflow available through ChatGPT, the web, and supported messaging channels. It explains how ScaleMe handles information when you use the service or contact support.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details, location, background, values, religious practice, partner preferences, dealbreakers, availability, profile notes, and consent choices. Some of this information may be sensitive.

We also process conversation and workflow data needed to operate the service, plus technical identifiers, device and usage information, diagnostics, security logs, and support correspondence.

How we use information

We use information to create and maintain your profile, remember your preferences, show your current status, operate consent and introduction workflows, provide support, prevent misuse, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations.

Profile readiness and permission to share information are separate choices. Marking a profile ready does not by itself authorize Shaindy to disclose your profile or contact card.

Sensitive information and consent

Shaindy may process sensitive information only when you choose to provide it and ask us to save or use it for the service. You may decline to provide optional details, correct them, revoke future sharing consent, pause the workflow, or request deletion.

Withdrawing consent does not undo information already disclosed with your permission, and a recipient may still save or forward information after receiving it.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information or use Shaindy profile information for third-party advertising. We do not create a public profile directory.

Information may be accessed by authorized ScaleMe personnel and operators who need it to provide and support the service. We also use service providers such as OpenAI, Supabase, Railway, and Meta/WhatsApp to host, process, secure, or transmit service data. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

A potential match or their authorized representative receives information only through the applicable consent workflow. The ChatGPT app itself does not show other participants, share contact details, send messages, or create messaging groups.

International processing

ScaleMe and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Retention and deletion

We retain an active or paused profile while it is needed to provide the service and allow you to resume. After we verify a deletion request, we remove or de-identify profile information from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and technical obligations. Residual copies may remain in protected backups until those backups are routinely rotated.

We retain technical and security logs and support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to operate and secure the service, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, export, pause, deletion, or restriction of your information, and you may revoke future sharing consent. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Rights and response periods vary by location.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot prevent a recipient from taking a screenshot, copying, saving, or forwarding information after it is shared.

Adults only

Shaindy is intended only for adults age 18 or older. A parent, matchmaker, or trusted helper may assist an adult only with that adult's authorization.
